1. At what time you arrive at the Venue?
Do you use the venue Sound Equipment?
A: Regardless of where the wedding will take place we will be at
the venue 2 hours before to set up and do a sound check. We
use our own equipment regardless if the venue has their own
system.
2. What additional types of events do
you service besides Weddings?
A: Anniversaries, Baby Showers / Milestones, Birthdays, Bridal
Showers, Corporate Events, Engagement Parties, Holiday Parties,
Memorials, Quinceaneras / Sweet 16s
3. What is your Band's usual attire?
A: Semi Formal ( All Black )
4. Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?
A: Yes. you can listen to them here at our site or view them at
Youtube.
5. Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently
know?
A: Depends, if the wedding is 3 months or more from the date you
sign the contract and we do not have it in our repertoire then
we will do our best to acquire and play your song The only way
we will not honor the request is if the Bride provides the
information only 30 days or less before the Wedding
6. Can you attend my wedding rehearsal?
A: Yes but We need to know ahead of time ( months ) to make
arrangements since We work for a Magnet School of Performing
Arts our schedule is from 2 to 7 pm during School Year August to
end of May and we can only attend the wedding rehearsals close
to our Hometown.
7. How would you motivate the crowd if
no one is dancing?
A: Our music is for listening. But we can make people dance with
our music selections.
8. What is the required deposit to secure your services?
A: 50% of the service cost.
9. Do you play recorded music during
your break?
A: Yes.
10. What is your overtime rate?
A: $80.00 additional hour.
11. What is your policy on taking breaks?
A: Yes, we do take a brake depending on the music package
selected.
12. What ceremony music arrangements can
you provide?
A: Instrumental - Solo, Duo, Trio
Or
BIg Band, Saxophone Cuartet, etc.
13. What instruments does your group play?
A: Saxophone, Violin and if requested Guitar
14. What is the size of your band?
A: Small (2-3 musicians)
15. What music genre does your band
play?
Acoustic, Classical, Folk, Jazz, Latin Jazz, Oldies, Pop,
Swing
16. Do you require that the client
provide your meal?
A: We ask for a meal to be provided for the Complete
Wedding Package. It doesn't have to be the same as the guests.
17. Should I tip the entertainer?
A: As we are a service industry, tips are always
appreciated and is a nice way of showing your satisfaction with
the services rendered. All DJs get paid very competitively and
do not rely on tips. If you do choose to tip the average is
10-20%.
